Obituary of Dan Junior Bishop

Jr. Bishop, age 43, of the Lone Star Community, passed away, Monday, March 11, 2013, at his residence. Jr. was born December 27, 1969, in Clarksville to Dan Austin and Charlotte Childres Bishop, Sr. He was a self employed Freight Broker and a member of the Double “R” Cowboy Church. He was preceded in death by his mother; and his grandmothers Mary Ella Bishop and Blanche Childres. Survivors include his wife, Nikki Bishop of the Lone Star Community; 2 daughters, Cheyenne Sheffield and husband Cole of the Lone Star Commuity and Baylie Wright of the Lone Star Community;1 son, Talon Self Bishop of Rattan, Oklahoma; his father, Dan Bishop of Tow; his grandfather, Carl Childres of the Lone Star Community; his sister, Carla Cope and husband John Wayne of Krum; and his niece, Charlee Cope; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Funeral services are set for 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, March 13, 2013, at the Double “R’ Cowboy Church with Rev. Tracy Williams officiatiing. Burial will follow in the Lone Star Cemetery under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8, Tuesday night at the church. Pallbearers are Judd Murray, Jason Murray, Jimmy Hughes, Jason Hughes, Randy Freeman, Blair Freeman, Nick Baird and Steve Peek.
