Obituary of J.C. Green

J.C. Green, age 64, of Clarksville, passed away July 25, 2013, at his residence. Mr. Green was born in Red River County, February 27, 1949, to Clarance and Nellie Marie McClure Green. He served in the U.S. Army and was preceded in death by a brother, Ricky Green and a brother in law. Survivors include his wife, Evelyn Green of the home; 1 son, Johnny Green of the Albion Community; special daughter, Misty Carroll of the Albion Community; a special niece Reba Duke of Malta; and a special friend Justin Maness of Queen Creek, Arizona; 2 sister-in-laws, Joann Maness and Mary Duncan; brothers, Billy Green of Wichita Falls, Glen Green of Clarksville, Elmer Green of Bogata and David Green of Clarksville; sisters, Dorothy Thornburg of Athens, Helen Seaton of Mt. Pleasant, Linda Adams of Gun Barrell City, Brenda Green of Tyler, Mary Ramirez of Athens, Debra Ozornea of Athens, Barbara Locke of Athens, Glenda White of Clarksville and Daphnez Espinoza of Clarksville. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Monday, July 29, 2013, in Lindeman Chapel of Clarksville Funeral Home with Bro. Robert Dillon officiating. Burial will follow in Albion Cemetery under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home.
