Obituary of Charlene Stanphill

Charlene Stanphill, age 72, of Boxelder, passed away, Wednesday, April 25th, 2018, at her residence surrounded by her loved ones.   She was born, August 22, 1945, in Sallisaw, Oklahoma to Homer Lee and Beulah Mae Burcham Renfrow.  Charlene was a loving wife, mom and granny, with a kind and loving nature.  We will miss her gentle touch and caring ways.  Although there is a void now in our lives, we find comfort knowing she is home with Jesus.  Charlene and her husband were owners of Modern Home Products in Dallas.  She was a member of the Missionary Baptist Church.   Her brother, Homer Lee Renfrow, Jr. and her sister, Betty Wilt preceded her in death.  Charlene married Herbert Stanphill on September 17, 1960, in Grand Prairie.

Funeral services are set for 1:00 p.m., Saturday, April 28, 2018, in Lindeman Chapel of Clarksville Funeral Home with Rev. Karl Bush officiating.   Her final resting place will be at Stones Chapel Cemetery under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home.

The family will receive friends Friday night from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., at Clarksville Funeral Home.

Survivors  include her husband, Herbert Stanphill of Boxelder; 1 daughter, Darla McKnight and husband, Robert of Paris; 1 son, Jimmy Stanphill of Annona; grandchildren, Charles Clough and wife, Renee, Riley Clough and wife Laura, Thomas Stanphill and wife, Renee and Jeffery Johnson; 7great grandchildren; 2 sisters, Linda Renfrow of Clarksville and Edna Bell of Corpus Christi.
