Obituary of Rexie Rexene Storey

Rexie Rexene Storey, age 90,  of Avery, passed away Friday, May 11, 2018, at Ponderosa Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Rexene was born March 23, 1928, in Avery, to Claude Rex and Edna Francis Holloway Davidson.  She was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband, Dale Storey; her second husband, Gordon Presley; her third husband, Bill Storey; two brothers John and Travis Davidson and two sisters, EvaLena Peacock and Bonnie Storey.

The family will receive friends Monday, May 14, 2018, at Clarksville Funeral Home from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.

Funeral services are set for 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 15, 2018, at Avery United Methodist Church with Rev. Deannie Lambert officiating.  Burial will follow in Avery Cemetery under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home.

Survivors include her 5 children, her daughter, Linda Storey Hicks and husband, Kenneth of Stephenville, her son, Ronald Dale Storey and wife, Renetta of New Boston, her son, Kenneth Lee Storey and wife, Diane of Clarksville, her daughter, Betty Costabile of Stephenville and her son, Kerry Glen Storey and wife, Charlotte of New Boston; 2 sisters, Margie Price of Ft. Worth and Christine Seggerman of Avery; her brother, James Davidson and wife, Velma of Avery; 11 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
