Brett and Family:
Although some time has passed by, my heartfelt sympathy, thoughts, and prayers are still extended to you at this difficult time. The remembrances and memories should, and hopefully, will help sustain somewhat the loss, grief, and sorrow.
May you know that there are many others who share with you and are thinking of you and the impact that this has on each of your lives. I trust that small words of encouragement and rays of emotional sunshine will come forth to ease the pain daily.
God knows and He is the one from whom all blessings flow during these difficult periods of life. If only we will trust in Him!
Most sincerely,
Wayne K. Foster

Our heartfelt condolences to Brett & Karen, and the family of Wayne Smith. It has been an honor and blessing hearing the life lessons of Mr Smith reflected through the classroom teachings of his son Brett at Geyer Springs FBC.

I loved Dr.Smith so much and send my most sincere sympathy to Brett and his family. I was privileged to have Dr. Smith as my pastor at FBC, Sparkman as well as my high school principal. He also was part of mine and my husband's wedding. In all things, he was such a Godly man and was a definite example of the love of Christ. He will be missed by all who knew him, but I know especially by his precious family. However, it is only a temporary separation for those of us who know Jesus as Saviour! Can't wait for that reunion in Heaven! Praying for you, my friend Brett!

I took care of Mr Wayne at Amberwood. He touched my heart the first time I met him. We became quick friends. Many conversations about basketball and the Lady Bears. He always had positive words and shared his wisdom. I will forever be blessed to have known him!!
