I often think of Gary Bob when I look into my cowboy days of 40 years ago, Gary was one of the finest gentleman I’ve ever met in Texas, his sons were my age, Blake and Ben Chandler and there was a young one I grew fond of but I can’t remember his name I am very sorry for your loss of a great father and family Man, I have to say thank you to Gary for letting me borrow his tractor every time I needed it to get unstuck from that lousy road down the street at the Butler Farm where I lived with no doors or windows for quite some time, God bless you Gary and may you rest in the arms of our Lord and Savior Jesus Craig Schwartz

Gary was a man among men. He served his country, worked a full time job in town, raised cotton, soybeans, cows, hogs, chickens and kids, and didn't have to hire anybody to fix anything. He was not only formally educated but self educated as well. He was a wise and kind man, and was loved and respected by all that knew him. I salute his memory with all that I am. Ben
