I remember as a little girl I didn't know how to swim. Jerry took me out into Lake Erie at Presque Isle. I was scared but Jerry was so tall and told me he wouldn't let anything happen to me that I was safe. My Mom said in another few hours I would have been swimming but we had to leave.
I know we didn't keep in touch the way we should have, but we always think we'll have "one more day".
