Obituary of Wilburn Ray Parker

Wilburn Ray Parker, age 81, of Annona, passed away, Sunday, February 3, 2019, in Wylie.  Wilburn was born, July 12, 1937, in Annona to Bennie and Fannie Bell Coleman Parker.  He was a kindhearted man and a friend to all.  Wilburn served in the U.S. Army and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Annona.  He was preceded in death by one brother, Charles Weldon Parker, sisters, Opal Mae and husband, Paul “Sleepy” Sehorne, Bennie Jo and husband, Paul Aubrey; and brothers-in-law, Ralph Brewer, Phillip “Phil” Parker and Gene Dunlap.

Funeral services are set for 11:00 a.m. Thursday, February 7, 2019, in Lindeman Chapel of Clarksville Funeral Home with Rev. Dixon Rial officiating.  Burial will follow in Garland Cemetery under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home.

The family will receive friends an hour before service time at Clarksville Funeral Home.

Survivors include one brother, James Parker and wife, Betty of Wylie; three sisters, Virginia Dunlap of Wylie, Peggy Brewer of Garland and Alice Parker of Wylie; and many nieces and nephews.
