Obituary of Kendall Ward Bradford

Kendall Ward Bradford, age 58, of Clarksville, was born on September 21, 1960, in Washington, D.C. and passed away, Sunday, February 24, 2019, at his residence.  Gifted with a keen intellect, Kendall graduated from the University of the South with highest honors and a degree in Psychology.  His career included years of civil service including roles with The National Parks Service Headquarters in Washington, D.C., Red River County Mental Health/Mental Retardation as a licensed professional counselor and with the University of Texas Medical Branch as Mental Health Manager.  Kedall was a member of the Episcopal Church and attended New Haven Missionary Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Marion and Kathryn Needman Bradford; and brother, Carl Bradford.

Survivors include his wife, Etta Vickers of Clarksville; sister, Marian Bradford of Washington, D.C.; brother, Hal Bradford and wife, Judy of New Jersey; nephew, William Bradford; step-daughters, Maresa Hulslander and husband, David of Lucas, Janet Post of Clarksville; his loving grandchildren, Sarah Hulslander, Erin Hulslander, William Hulslander, Rachel Hulslander, John Hulslander, Rex Edward Post III, Austin Post and wife, Sheliah and their son’s, Austin Bradford Post II and Jonathan Post.

Funeral services are set for 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 27, 2019, in the New Haven Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Dennis McClintic, David Hulslander and Rev. James Hinkle officiating.  Burial will follow in New Haven Cemetery under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home.

The family will receive friends Tuesday night from 6:00 p.m., until 7:30 p.m., at Clarksville Funeral Home.

Pallbearers are David Hulslander, William Hulslander, John Hulslander, Rex Post III, Austin Post and Jonathan Post.

Honorary Pallbearers are Steve Raulston, Freddy Rodriguez, Jody Cain and W.C. Cole.
