Obituary of Alma Mullins

Alma Mullins, age 87, of Avery, passed away, Friday, March 22, 2019, at the Clarksville Nursing Center. Mrs. Mullins was born in Avery on May 22, 1931, to John Hubbard and Florence Baird Smith.  She loved music, dancing, hunting and fishing.  Alma was a member of the Spirit of Life Church.  Her husband; W.B. Mullins, Jr., son; Jimmy R. Mullins and daughter; Linda Gail Wilson preceded her in death.

Mrs. Mullins is survived by a daughter; Delores Smith and husband, Jerald of Avery, seven grandchildren; Bobby Edwards and Laura of Hooks, Angela Wilson of De Kalb Karen Ward and husband, Robert of De Kalb, Sharon Cannon of Scurry, Craig Collvins and wife, Amy of Texarkana, April Martin and husband, Chris of Avery and Justin Mullins and wife, Alisha of De Kalb, fourteen great grandchildren, five great-great grandchildren; and two special friends, Ruby Riley and Mary Caldwell.

Funeral Services are 3:00 p.m. Monday, March 25, 2019, in Lindeman Chapel of Clarksville Funeral Home with Rev. Ray McGregor officiating. Burial will follow at Whiteman’s Chapel Cemetery under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at Clarksville Funeral Home.

Serving as pallbearers are Johnathan Riddle, Hunter Martin, Colton Cannon, Clint Williams, Logan Edwards and Ethan Edwards.

Honoray Pallbearers are Jacob Mullins and Chris Cannon.
