Florabelle was so proud of all her sons. She always had holiday dinners at her home . She made lovely quilts with her sisters. She, her sisters and brother, Joseph, loved to do chores together.. Florabell was so kind to all. I am proud to have known her. She wrote a book of her family and memories and activities. A small town country girl with a very curious nature and enjoyed reading about history and her Bible.

Flora Bell was my husband's 1st cousin. We loved visiting in her home and learning from her family history. Sibling potlucks every week in her home were delightful with lots of variety of southern cooking. Flora Bell, her siblings and her children made us feel welcome. She was smart, strong, faithful and fun. My husband James is now deceased but both of our lives are richer from knowing Flora Bell.
