Obituary of Tom Rogers

Tom Rogers age 77, of Avery, passed away, Saturday, April 27, 2019, in Texarkana Acute Medical Care Hospital.

Tom was born January 4, 1942, to Ernest Houston and Golda Mable Rogers in Seymour, Tennessee.  He graduated from Harrison Chilhowee Baptist Academy.  He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers, Jimmy Rogers and Wayne Rogers and 4 sisters, Peggy Sue Sexton, Barbara Jean Delozier, Maxine Doris Milan and Elizabeth “Lib” Williams.

The family will receive friends one hour before service time at the First Baptist Church of Annona.

Funeral Services are set for 1:00p.m. May 1, 2019, at the First Baptist Church of Annona with Rev. Deanie Lambert officiating.  Burial will follow in Boxelder Cemetery under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home.

Survivors include his wife, Shirley Brem Rogers of Avery; his son, David Thomas “Tommy” Rogers of Avery; his sister Margaret Ann Duncan and husband, Don of Ft. Worth and his brother, David Roland Rogers and wife, Ellen of The Links, Flordia.
