Obituary of Lillian Weemes

 Lynn “MeMe” Weemes, a loving mother and grandmother, age 80, of Clarksville, passed away Friday, June 07, 2019, at her residence.  Lynn was born, September 24, 1938, in the Sherry Community of Red River County to Jim and Irene Melton McDowell.  She was retired from Paris Packaging Company and a member of Friendship Missionary Baptist Church.  Her first husband, Kenneth Hines; a step daughter, Trinity Weemes and two brothers preceded her in death. 

Surviving Lynn are her husband, J.B. Weemes of Clarksville; her son, Todd Hines and wife, Amy of Paris and her step son, Jason Weemes of Clarksville; her daughter, Leigh Ann Booth of Clarksville; son-in-law, Chuck Booth of Clarksville; her sister, Vivan Moore and her late husband, Tommy of Levelland; her brother, Gerald McDowell and wife, Vera of Paris, six grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

Graveside services are scheduled for 10:30 a.m., Monday, June 10, 2019, at Tuggle Springs Cemetery with Rev. Mike Black officiating.  Burial will follow under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home.

Pallbearers are Dwayne DeMedio, Dustin Welch, Chance Kent, Corey Moore and Shane Roberts.

The family will receive friends Monday morning from 9:30 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. at Clarksville Funeral Home.
