I was a boyhood friend of Anthony Martin after his family moved to Linden, Texas. We had a ton of fun together swimming in such exotic pools as "Wade Across". We played high school football together and he especially enjoyed defense, where we tried to hit the runners as hard as we possibly could. He'd wink at me if I really clobbered a runner. He was an artist even then with natural born talent. I can't go there in detail. Rest in peace my fine friend. I'll be along shortly.
