Obituary of Steven Wayne Long

Steven Wayne Long, age 57, of Detroit, passed away Tuesday, August 20, 2019, at his residence.

Steven was born March 20, 1962, in Clarksville to Richard Wayne and Beverly May Pellett Long.  Steven was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying hunting and fishing.  He drove an 18 wheeler for 35 years.  Steven loved his family and friends including his bulldogs.  Preceding him in death are his parents and his brother, Donald Richard Long.

The family will receive friends Saturday, August 24, 2019, from 12:30p.m. to 1:30p.m. at Clarksville Funeral Home.

Graveside services are set for 2:00p.m. Saturday, August 24, 2019, at Detroit Cemetery with Rev. Don Shovan officiating.  Burial is under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home.

Survivors include his wife, Carolyn Kay Cozart Long of Detroit; his son, Christopher Wayne Long and wife Amelia of Detroit; 2 brothers, Paul Jeffery Long and wife Natilee of Clarksville and Michael Gene Long and wife, Lisa of Paris and 10 grandchildren.
