Obituary of Rickey Joe Hines

Rickey Joe Hines, age 61, of Avery, passed away, Sunday, August 25, 2019, at his residence.  Rickey was a loving husband, father and grandfather who worked hard to provide for his family.  He graduated from Clarksville High School in 1976 and was employed through the Red River Army Depot.  Rickey married Connie Ballew on February 12, 1982.  He was born March 19, 1958, in Clarksville to Carlis Washington and Billie Joyce Hines.  His parents; brother, Wesley Hines; sister, Louise Carrasco; and grandson, Trey Lackey preceded him in death.

There will be a celebration of life service beginning at 6:00 p.m., Thursday, August 29, 2019, at the Hines residence in Avery.  Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home.

Survivors include his wife, Connie Hines of Avery; five daughters, Brandi Lewis and husband, Shawn of Clarksville, Brooke Moore of Avery, Melody Kimbrell and husband, Heath of Pottsboro, Kayla Jo and Kelsey Hines of Avery; one sister, Kay Sheffield of Cuthand; one brother, James Hines of Mt. Vernon; his grandchildren, Karma, Coltrane, Lily, Ethan, Secily, Riley, Dixie, Danni, Hayes, Harper, Koa, Zoen, Kylin, Kynli, Gunner and Ryatt; and his best friend, Richard Hunt.
