Obituary of Donald W. Copeland

Don W. Copeland, age 94, of Clarksville, died Monday, December 27, 2010 at ETMC Clarksville. Mr. Copeland was born August 15, 1916 in Polk County, Missouri to John Orville and Floy Lyle Copeland. He worked for Karbe Supermarkets in Coffeyville, Kansas and later retired a retail executive with Piggly-Wiggly stores. He was an Elder with the 1st Presbyterian Church, a 32nd degree Mason and a Shriner. He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen Copeland; a brother, John Copeland, Jr.; and a sister, Bernice Barnett. Graveside services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Thursday, December 30, 2010, at Fairview Cemetery with Rev. Ed Dodson officiating. Services are under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home. Survivors include three sons, Jon Copeland and wife Dana of Pineville, Missouri, Greg Copeland and wife Linda of The Woodlands, and Larry Copeland and wife Sherry of North Richland Hills; five grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.
