Obituary of Annie Maxine Bridges
Annie Maxine Bridges, age 82, of Bagwell, passed away, Friday, December 31, 2010, at Legend Health Care Center in Paris.
Mrs. Bridges was born June 28, 1928, in Bagwell to Robert Ephrim and Annie Ferguson Miller. She was a member of the Bagwell Baptist Church and V.F.W. Post # 3990 Ladies Auxiliary. She was a Rural Mail Carrier for Rt. 1 Bagwell for many years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harley Bridges, a daughter, Shirley Leffel, granddaughter, Angela Bridges, a daughter in law, Barbara Bridges, her brothers, Robert “Son” Miller, Harlin “Jack” Miller, Vernon Miller, Virgil Miller, Robert E. Miller, Jr. and twin brother, Robert Jacqueline Miller, and sisters, Esther Sellers, Edith “Dump” Vickers, Dimple Darr and Peggy Edwards.
Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 4, 2011, in Lindeman Chapel of Clarksville Funeral Home with Rev. Karl Bush officiating. Burial will follow in Bogata Cemetery under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home.
Pallbearers are Will Phifer, Glenn Berry, Joey Musgrove, Ronnie Bridges, Robert Bridges, Roger Bridges, Rickey Bridges and Rusty Stansbury.
Survivors include a son, Ronald Bridges and wife Kim of Bagwell; a daughter, Vicky Phifer and husband Jimmy of Detroit; seven grandchildren; four step grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; five step grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren; a brother in law, Billy Edwards of Detroit; a son in law, Junior Leffel; and a special friend, Kathy Travillion.
