Obituary of Henry Bud Hastings

Henry Norris “Bud” Hastings, age 82, of Clarksville, passed away, Monday, January 3, 2011, at East Texas Medical Center, Tyler. Mr. Hastings was born October 4, 1928 in Bagwell to Henry Joseph and Sally Eastman Hastings. He was of the Baptist faith and served in the U.S. Army. He was preceded in death by his wife, Faye Hastings and a sister Sybil Kiser. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 8, 2011, in Lindeman Chapel of Clarksville Funeral Home with Rev. Don Shovan officiating. Burial will follow in Blanton Creek Cemetery under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home. Pallbearers are James Hastings, Ray Hastings, Paul Allen, Anthony Barletti, Donny Guinn and Robert Guinn. Survivors include two sons, Kenneth Hastings of Texarkana and Dwayne Hastings and wife Debbie of Clarksville; three daughters, Connie Buchanan and husband Sam of Texarkana, Gail Hearn and husband Ben of Mt. Enterprise and Belinda Clark and husband Jeff of Redwater; twp special cousins, Juanita Hastings and Mable Henry both of Bagwell; nine grandchildren; and thirteen great grandchildren.
