Obituary of James H. Curry

Jim Curry, age 70, of Detroit, passed away, Wednesday, January 26, 2011, at ETMC Clarksville. Jim was born June 14, 1940 in Detroit to Curtis and Laverne Fodge Curry. He was a retired Book Broker and an Antiquities Collector. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, David; and a sister, Patricia Benson. A viewing and visitation will be held Saturday, January 29, 2011, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Clarksville Funeral Home. Cremation will follow. Arrangements are under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home. Survivors include his wife, Bobbie King Curry of Detroit; a daughter, Cindy Cowan of Irving; two step sons, Rick Maestri of Barling, Arkansas and Dan Maestri of Van Buren, Arkansas; two sisters, Jeanne Riggs of Frisco and Janice Stephens of Denison; a brother, Larry Curry of Houston; four grandchildren; four step grandchildren; and nine step great grandchildren.
