Obituary of Buddy M. Stanley

Buddy Stanley, age 72, of Clarksville, passed away, Sunday, May 15, 2011, at Christus St. Michael Hospital in Texarkana. Buddy was born November 8, 1938, in Red River County, Texas, to Ballard and Beulah Mowery Stanley. He married Sue Stringer on May 29, 1964. He was a member of the Hopewell Missionary Baptist Church. A sister, Mable Dale and a brother, J.D. Stanley preceded him in death. Funeral services are 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 18, 2011, in Lindeman Chapel of Clarksville Funeral Home with Rev. Ronnie Kellam officiating. Burial will follow in Jamison Chapel Cemetery under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home. The family will receive friends Tuesday night from 6 to 8 at Clarksville Funeral Home. Pallbearers are Jimmy Carson, Brian Stringer, Heath Stringer, James Martin, Luke Martin and David McEntire. Survivors include his wife, Sue Stanley of Clarksville; two sons, Ronnie Stanley of the English Community and Gary Stanley and wife Dana of Powderly; grandchildren, Matthew Stanley, Shelby Stanley, Kyle Stanley, Ryan Stanley and Caitlin Stanley.
