I am very sorry that my family and I can not be there, but I hope that everyone remembers what a great person Big Grannie was. She was a great mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great-great grandmother, sister, and friend. She crafted the most beautiful quilts, and cooked food that tasted better than any resturants, especially her holiday dressing and pies. She made sure that nobody went hungry. She tried her best to feed everyone that came to visit, even if they had already eaten. She was so full of love that you could feel it every time she hugged you. She had such a wonderful spirit. I think my fondest memories are of going with her and grand daddy to get a hamburger and working with her in the garden as a child. I think I will miss her laugh the most and seeing her get tickled over something. We will miss her so much, but I know in my heart that she is in a better place.
