Obituary of Jessie Ray Posey

Jessie Ray Posey, age 31, of Greenville, passed away Thursday, September 9, 2011, at Greenville Presbyterian Hospital. Jessie was born November 9, 1979, in Dallas to Billy Joe and Deborah Elaine Gilchriest Posey. He was in the Cabinet Manufacturing business. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Harry Posey; his grandmother, Eva Lena Posey; his adopted father, Bobby Wilkerson; and two brothers, David and Joseph Posey. Funeral services are schedulded for 2:00 p.m. Friday, September 16, 2011, in Lindeman Chapel of Clarksville Funeral Home with Rev. James Brown officiating. Burial will follow in Detroit Cemetery under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home. Survivors include his wife, Silvia Cruz Posey; two sons, Jose Cruz and Avory Posey; one daughter, Mekala Posey; his adopted mother, Ocie Loving; three sisters, Amanda Renee Posey, Debbie Thamm and Terrie Booth; three brothers, Ricky Posey, Dennis Stanley and Lewis Stanley.
