Obituary of Agnes Elenora Steger

Agnes Elenora Peterson Steger, age 98, of Clarksville, passed away Sunday, January 15, 2012, at Regency Healthcare and Rehab. Mrs. Steger was born July 31, 1913, in San Antonio, to Carl and Esther Hellgren Steger. She was a homemaker. Her husband Raymond Steger preceded her in death on January 14, 1997. Survivors include 2 nieces, Evelyn Ballew of Clarksville and Betty Galloway of Katy; 1 nephew, Floyd Taylor and wife Carol of Pearland; 2 great nieces, Janet Bean and husband Alan of Clarksville and Paula Nichols and husband Jeff of Paris; and 2 great nephews, Duane Ballew and wife Tammy of Ft. Worth and David Ballew and wife Wendy of Austin. At her request, Mrs. Steger's body was donated to the University of Texas Health Science Center. The family will have a memorial service at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, January 21, 2102, at the Regency Nursing Center in Clarksville.
