Obituary of Helen E. Hardegree

Helen E. Athas Hardegree, age 85, of Clarksville, died Thursday, March 1, 2012, at Regency Nursing Center. She was the best mother and loved her grandchildren. Mrs. Hardegree was born January 17, 1927, in Clarksville, the daughter of James Nicholas and Lizzie Rider Athas. She was of the Methodist faith. Graveside services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Thursday, March 8, 2012, at Fairview Cemetery with Rev. Jerry Colgrove officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home. Survivors include a son, Brad Hardegree and wife Christine of Longmont, Colorado; a daughter, Sharon Holstlaw and husband Randy of Evergreen, Colorado; and 8 grandchildren.
