Obituary of Levone Davis

Levone Davis, age 86, of Clarksville, passed away Friday, March 02, 2012, at his residence. Mr. Davis was born May 23, 1925, in Red River County to Sam and Stella Davis. He was retired from Day and Zimmerman and served in the U.S. Army. Graveside services are set for 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 7, 2012, at English Cemetery with Rev. James Brown officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home. Visitation will be Tuesday night from 6 to 7 at Clarksville Funeral Home. Survivors include a special friend, Adelene Henderson of Clarksville; a sister in law, Vivian Davis of Mesquite; and several nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorials be made to the American Diabetes Association or the Alzheimers Association.
