Obituary of Tony Gomez

Antonio “Tony” Gomez, age 62, of Annona, passed away Wednesday, April 4, 2012, near Annona, from the results of an automobile accident. Tony was born in Hidalgo County, Texas on October 16, 1949, to Ladislado and Bandelia Galbez Gomez. He was very well known and liked man and a member of the St. Joseph’s Catholic Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Maria Felix Monsivais Gomez. Mass will be held at 9:30 a.m., on Monday, April 9, 2012, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Clarksville with Father G. E. Gabriel-Maisonet officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home. He is survived by a daughter, Lyria L. Gomez of Carrizo Springs, Texas; and all of his friends in Red River County.
