Obituary of Ethel Curtis Holloway

Ethel Curtis Holloway, age 91, formerly of Red River County, passed away, Monday, July 02, 2012, at Four Seasons Nursing Center in Durant, Oklahoma. Mrs. Holloway was born October 13, 1920, in the Albion Community to Calvin and Alice Mitchell Faulkner. She was of the Assembly of God faith. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Ray Curtis; her son, Calvin Ray Curtis, Sr; 4 brothers, Marvin Faulkner, John Lewis Faulkner, Lonnie Roberts and Clarence Roberts; 4 sisters, Louise Holt, edith McDonald, Stella Mae Hanley and Minnie Ervin; and a step granddaughter, Mary Saxon. Funeral services are set for 2:00 p.m. Thursday, July 5, 2012, in Lindeman Chapel of Clarksville Funeral Home with Rev. Troy Ruffin officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until service time Thursday at the funeral home. Survivors include 3 grandchildren, Lorie Marie Curtis, Calvin Ray Curtis, Jr. and Starla Kaye Curtis; 1 step granddaughter, Linda Curtis; 2 sisters, Dorothy Faulkner of Dallas, Alice Elizabeth Coffey of Millerton, Oklahoma; 3 brothers, Frank Turney of Denison, James Roberts of Houston and Elmer Lee Roberts of Durant, Oklahoma; and numerous great and great great grandchildren.
