Obituary of Alvena Pace

Alvena Pace, age 85, of Clarksville, passed away Sunday, July 22, 2012, at her residence. Mrs. Pace was born October 6, 1926, in Clarksville to H.H. and Meltilda Greenhagen Spoede. She was a member of the St. John Luthern Church. She was preceded in death by a sister and a brother. She married Willie Pace on April 12, 1946, in Texarkana. Funeral services are set for 3:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 24, 2012, in Lindeman Chapel of Clarksville Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Kimmel officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home. The family will receive friends an hour before service time at Clarksville Funeral Home. Pallbearers are Eddie Hutchison, David Hutchison, Carey Hutchison, Bobby Eilers, Anthony Eilers and William Ross. Survivors include her husband, Willie Pace of Clarksville; 3 daughters, Marie Hutchison and husband Bill of Clarksville, Carolyn Eilers of Commerce and Gayla Ross and husband Mike of Gilmer; 7 grandchildren; and 7 great grandchildren.
