Obituary of Loyd E Asher

Loyd E. Asher, age 79, of Idabel, Oklahoma, passed away Sunday, September 30, 2012, at Paris Regional Medical Center. Mr. Asher was born in Clarksville on January 9, 1933, to Gordy and Vernie Lackey Asher. He was preceded in death by his wife, Odessa; and a sister, Mary Jo Greer. Survivors include 2 sons, Gary Wayne Moore and wife Anna of Cuthand and Tim Asher and wife Kathern of Idabel; 2 daughters, Judy Gaines of Idabel and Verna Vann and husband Eddie Jo of Idabel; 2 sisters, Shirley Stokes and husband Cleburne of Friona and Gale Deaton and husband Morris of Clarksville; 2 brothers, Mark Asher and wife Donna of Annona and Harvey Asher of Annona; 8 grandchildren; and 8 great grandchildren. Graveside services are set for 3:00 p.m., Thursday, October 4, 2112, at Fairview Cemetery with Rev. Troy Ridge officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home.
