Obituary of Karen Dee Bland

Karen Dee Hardin Bland, age 51, of Clarksville, passed away, Monday, October 8, 2012, in Clarksville. She was a loving, caring mother of many and a very giving and highly artistic person. Karen befriended everyone she met. Karen was born February 11, 1961, in Bakersfield, California to Bobby Dean and Patricia Peel Hardin. She was a member of the Avery Assembly of God. She married Timothy Bland in Bakersfield, California in 1984. She was preceded in death by her mother; and her grandparents, Tommy and Hazel Peel. Survivors include her husband, Timothy Bland of Clarksville; her father, Bob Hardin of Medford, Oregon; 2 sons, Bobby Hardin Bland and wife Misty of Clarksville and Bruce Tyler Bland and wife Casey of Visalia, California. 1 grandchild, Bridget Bland; 5 step grandchildren; 1 sister, Cheryl Picco of Bakersfield, California; and 1 brother, Mitch Hardin of Bakersfield, California. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been set up at Heritage Bank, P.O. Box 279, Detroit, Texas 75436. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home.
