Obituary of Alice Sturch

Alice Wright Sturch, age 85, of Mt. Pleasant, passed away, Thursday, October 11, 2012, at Greenhill Villas Nursing Home. Mrs. Sturch was born April 27, 1927, in Onalaska, Texas, to Leslie Owen and Cora Bell Campbell Wright. She was a member of the Assembly of God Church. Mrs. Sturch was preceded in death by her sisters, Ann Weaver, Irene Fuller and Lillian Wilsford; her brothers, Happy, Dick, Shorty and Pete Wright; and 2 grandson’s Christopher and Jacob Sturch. She married Paul Sturch on September 14, 1947, in Clarksville. Graveside services are set for 11:00 a.m. Wednesday October 17, 2012, at Fairview Cemetery with Rev. James Brown officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home. Survivors include her husband, Paul Sturch of Mt. Pleasant; her daughter, Paula Galvin and husband Tim of Santa Fe, New Mexico; her son, Bryan Sturch and wife Cindy of Florance, Colorado; her sisters, Ruth Hurt of Clarksville and Grace Holster of Mesquite; her grandchildren, Adam Sturch, Alisa Boatner and husband Brett, Wes Dismuke and wife Beth and Ryke Dismuke and wife Michelle; and 6 great grandchildren.
