Obituary of Brenda Gail Riviere

Brenda Gail Riviere, age 56, of Avery, passed away, Thursday, January 03, 2013, at her residence. Brenda owned Brenda’s Burger Barn in Avery. She was born in Texarkana, Texas on May 11, 1956, to Harald and Mary Sue Murry Gandy. She was preceded in death by her parents; Harald Gandy and Lane and Mary Sue Duncan; and a brother, Jerry Duncan. Survivors include a daughter, Jennifer Resendiz of Avery; 2 grandchildren, Adalynn Riviere and Kaden Bailon; 3 brothers, Bruce Duncan of Avery, Kenny Duncan and wife Donna of New Boston and Ricky Gandy and wife Teresa of Avery; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services are set for 2:00 p.m., Sunday, January 6, 2013, in Lindeman Chapel of Clarksville Funeral Home with Rev. Roddy Jackson officiating. Burial will follow in Avery Cemetery under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home. Pallbearers are Abel Resendiz, Nathan Baggett, Barnaby Resendiz, Jerry Steward, John Lee Stanley and Jerry Robison. The family will receive friends from 4 to 6 p.m., Saturday, at Clarksville Funeral Home.
