Obituary of Dorothy Millsap

Dorothy Nell Millsap, of the Woodland Community left this earth to be with her Lord peacefully in her sleep, July 24, 2013. Mrs. Millsap was born June 1, 1927, to Daniel and Annie Grizzle. She worked in service to others as a caregiver for many years. She was preceded in death by her husband, George Millsap and a son, Douglas McCoin. Mrs. Millsap is survived by her sons; Jackie McCoin and wife, Alice, Dan McCoin and wife, Chrissy, Georgie McCoin and Ben McCoin all of Detroit; a daughter, Kay Millsap of Arkansas; 16 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren. Memorial services in her honor are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Monday, July 29, 2013, at the Woodland United Methodist Church. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made in her name at the Heritage Bank.
