Obituary of Bob E Cabler

Bob Cabler, age 63, of Clarksville, passed away, Wednesday, November 20, 2013, at his residence. Bob was a retired Correctional Officer for the State of Texas. He was born March 4, 1950, in Memphis, Texas to W.E. and Robbie Offutt Cabler. He attended the Bagwell Baptist Church and was preceded in death by a granddaughter. Bob married Rebecca Smith on July 4, 1986. Survivors include his wife, Rebecca Cabler of Clarksville; three sons, Steve Cabler and wife, Gloria of Houston, James Taber of Atlanta and Shane Cabler and wife Sherri of Blossom; three daughters, Carrie Cabler of Dallas, Becky Nolan of Sachse and Crystal Cabler of Clarksville; two sisters, Edith Fouse of Detroit and Gladys Carrell and husband Donnie of Haworth, Oklahoma; three brothers, William Cabler and wife Nancy of Clarksville, Calvin Cabler and wife Glenda of Clarksville and Jerry Cabler and wife Kathy of Clarksville, and eleven grandchildren. Funeral services are set for 1:30 p.m., Saturday, November 23, 2013, at the Bagwell Baptist Church with Karl Bush officiating. Burial will follow in the Smith Family Cemetery under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour before service time at the church.
