Obituary of Joshua Blake Hamm

Joshua Blake Hamm age 11 of the Woodland Community passed away Tuesday, September 1, 2009 at Children’s Medical Center in Dallas. Joshua was born December 26, 1997 in Sulphur Springs to Daniel and Heather Edwards Hamm. He was a member of the 6th grade class at Detroit Middle School, attended Freedom Church of God, loved the outdoors and making people smile. He was preceded in death by his great grandparents, Walterine and Willie Wells; uncle Jason Kyle Miller; a great uncle Robert Trent Edwards. Survivors include his parents of the Woodland Community; brother, Caleb Daniel Hamm; sister, Gracie Lee Ann Hamm; grandparents, Roger and Ginger Edwards of the Woodland Community, David and Judy Hamm of Emory and Cynthia and Guy Kreiger of Balch Springs; great grandparents, Lunsford and Lavern Edwards of the Woodland Community, great grandmother, Loulia Hockman of Deport and Bertie Newton of Cedar Hill; aunts and uncles, Teri and Daniel Hines, Joey and Linda Hamm, Sammy and Elizabeth Hamm, Becky and Kasey Floyd and Dale Edwards; cousins, Kaylie, Brittany, Elizabeth and Maddison Hines, Makayla and Makenzie Hamm, Lydia Blassigame, Faith and Emily Hamm, Mason Miller, Dokata and Benjamin Clark, Breanna Edwards, Pierce Kenum and Montgomery Clark; great aunts and uncles and children, Lyle and Diane Edwards, Kelvin and Tammy and Jacey Edwards, Stephanie and Eric Clark, Johnny and Beverly Edwards, Racheal and Justin Kenum, Oquin and Penny Edwards and Kasey and Tyler and Joey Edwards, Sue and Kevin Wells, Tara and Clint Clark, David Wells, Lavoy and Johnny White and Children and Glenda Hodges. Funeral services are 10:30 a.m. Saturday, September 5, 2009 at the Pathway Church of God in Paris with Rev. David Hamm and Daniel Hines officiating. Burial will follow in Woodland Cemetery under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home. Pallbearers are Joey Hamm, Sammy Hamm, Daniel Hines, Jerry Dean, and Dale Edwards. Honorary Pallbearers are Dustin Dean, Dillon Murphy, James Payne, Neal Shadad and Samuel Blanton. Ushers are Johnny Edwards, Oquin Edwards, Lyle Edwards and Kelvin Edwards.
