Obituary of Bennie H. Roseberry

Bennie H. Roseberry, age 84, of Avery, passed away, Wednesday, December 25, 2013, at ETMC Tyler. Bennie was born August 19, 1929, in Potter, Arkansas to Charles and Susan Payton Roseberry. He retired after 29 years from The Texas Department of Public Transportation. Bennie was preceded in death by his wife, Sue Whitley Roseberry, 8 siblings and was of the Baptist faith. He also served in the U.S. Air Force. Funeral services are set for 3:00 p.m., Friday, December 27, 2013, in Lindeman Chapel of Clarksville Funeral Home with Rev. James Brown officiating. Burial will follow in Avery Cemetery under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home. The family will receive friends an hour before service time at the funeral home. Pallbearers are Wesley Roseberry, Kelly Roseberry, Robert Roseberry, Michael Downs, Josh Faulkner and Brandon Gray. Survivors include his son, Michael Roseberry and wife Betty Jo of Mt. Vernon; his daughter, Vicki Crum and husband Dennis of Avery; three grandchildren, Misty Bailon and husband, Poncho of Avery, Lacy Carpenter and husband Peanut of Naples and Jason Applegate and wife Jan of Maud; two great-grandchildren, Caleigh and Cash; and a special friend, Christine Cox of Avery.
