Obituary of Doris Hervey

Doris T. Hervey, age 90, of Bogata, passed away, Friday, March 7, 2014, at Dubuis Hospital in Paris. Mrs. Hervey was born July 12, 1923, in Avery to Alford Morland and Agnes Vean Wallace Coats. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Norris Hervey; a daughter, Daphne Hervey; sisters, Ava Rogers, Lucille Wright and Juanita “Prudy” White; and a brother, Jo Bob Coats. Mrs. Hervey was an avid reader and to everyone she was “Mom”. Funeral services are set for 3:00 p.m., Wednesday in Lindeman Chapel of Clarksville Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Bogata Cemetery under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home. The family will receive friends an hour before service time at the funeral home. Survivors include two sons, Ron Hervey and wife, Kristin of Paris and David Hervey of North Richland Hills; a daughter, Wanda Johnson of Bogata; a sister, Laverne Thomas of Bogata; and her grandchildren, Brenda Clary, Patty Morrison, Cindy Mills, Lonnie Bright, Megan Pannel and Hannah Hervey. She is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
