Obituary of Roland Reed Terry

Roland Reed “Sonny” Terry, Jr. age 91, of the White Rock Community, passed away Saturday, March 22, 2014 at his residence. Sonny was born October 2, 1922, in Clarksville to Roland Reed Terry, Sr. and Evie Elizabeth Martin Terry. He loved spending time with his family and friends and will be dearly missed. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Martin Joe Terry and two sisters, Mildred Harcrow and Barbara Perterson. Funeral services are set for 2:00 p.m. Monday, March 24, 2014, in Lindeman Chapel of Clarksville Funeral Home with Rev. Jimmy Woodard officiating. Burial will follow in Madras Cemetery under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home. Survivors include two sisters, Virginia Bachman and husband Curtis of Clarksville and Georgia Key and husband D. T. of Greenville and several nieces, nephews and friends. Serving as pallbearers are Bruce Scott, J. L. O’neal, Ritchey Terry, Rick Bachman Paul Allen and Dub McGregor. Honorary pallbearer is Bill Terry.
