Obituary of Faye Jackson

Faye Jackson, age 84, of Avery, passed away Sunday, March 23, 2014, at Sunny Acres Nursing Home in DeKalb. Mrs. Jackson was born March 30, 1929, in Emhouse to Gus and Clara Burtram Brown. She loved traveling, gardening and being with her family. Faye was a member of the Spirit of Life Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, R.C. Jackson; and a daughter, Brenda Anderson. Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, March 26, 2014, in Lindeman Chapel of Clarksville Funeral Home with Rev. Ray McGregor and Rev. Floyd McMillian officiating. Burial will follow in Savannah Cemetery under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home. The family will receive friends an hour before service time at the funeral home. Survivors include three sons, Benny Jackson of Avery, Roland Jackson of Pottsboro and Ronnie Jackson of Winthrop, Arkansas; one daughter, Carrie Primm and husband Buster of Surfside Beach; one sister, Joyce Coate of Ensign, Kansas; one brother, James Brown of Brownsville; eleven grandchildren; and fourteen great-grandchildren.
