Obituary of Gale Faulkner
Rita Gale Faulkner, age 60, of Clarksville, passed away, Monday, June 02, 2014, at Baylor Hospital in Dallas. Gale was employed for 33 years as the Coordinator for the Red River County Community Health Core. She received her BBA in Social Sciences from Howard Payne University. Gale was a loving wife, mother and a friend to all. She married Mark Faulkner on May 2, 1980, in Dallas and was a member of the Pine Grove Presbyterian Church. Gale was preceded in death by her father and a sister. She was born October 16, 1953, in Mountain Home, Arkansas to Curtis and Deloris Carroll.
Funeral services are set for 1:30 p.m., Thursday, June 5, 2014, in Lindeman Chapel of Clarksville Funeral Home with Rev. Cindy Baker Burnett and Jack Holt officiating. Burial will follow in Jamison Chapel Cemetery under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday at Clarksville Funeral Home.
Pallbearers are Joe Compton, Will Farrell, Blake Bishop, Cade Petty, John Kelty, Michael Brannan, Mike Carroll and Jeremy Smith.
Honorary Pallbearer is Scott Gee.
Survivors include her husband, Mark of the home; one son, Zachary Faulkner of Paris; one daughter, Leigh Faulkner of Tyler; her mother, Deloris Currington of Irving; one grandson, Jace Faulkner; one sister, Linda Farrell of Florida; and two brothers, Mike Carroll of Irving and Steve Carroll of Irving.
