Obituary of Dan Warthan

Dan Warthan, age 79, of Annona, passed away, Wednesday, July 02, 2014, at his residence. Mr. Warthan was born December 13, 1934, in Annona the son of Alford and Emma Williams Warthan. He served in the U.S. Air Force and retired from the Red River Army Depot. Mr. Warthan was of the Methodist faith. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Cecil, Jim, Ernest and Bobby Warthan; and his sisters, Inez Warthan and Zula Jones. Graveside services are set for 10:30 a.m., Saturday, July 5, 2014, at Warthan Cemetery with Rev. Don C. “Dink” Benton officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home. Survivors include a sister-in-law, Christine Mauldin Warthan of Annona; and several nieces and nephews.
