Obituary of Larry Goodwin

Larry Dean Goodwin, age 57, passed away on Friday August 15, 2014. Larry was born July 8, 1957, in Amarillo, to Janie and the late Robert Goodwin. Larry attended high school in Clarksville and shortly after joined the U.S. Marine corps where he served for four years. He lived in the Whiterock Community where he raised two sons, Chad Aaron Goodwin of Whiterock, Texas and Scotty Ray Goodwin of Sumner Texas. He worked as a welder and retired in 2008. .Larry will be remembered as a fun-loving son, daddy, and papaw. Survivors include his mother, Janie Walton and Stepfather Lewis Walton of the Whiterock Community; three brothers, Roy Lee Goodwin of Madras Community, Brian Goodwin of Paris Texas, and James Paul Stiles of Trenton Texas: two sons, Chad and Scotty Goodwin; Daughter- in laws, Windy and Tabatha Goodwin; and nine grandchildren, Abby,Autumn, Alex, Johnathan, Anthony, Aaron, Kaidynse, Lindy and Bella Goodwin. He was preceded in death by his Daddy Robert Goodwin; and two brothers Harvey Goodwin and Dedrick Stiles. Funeral services are set for 2:00 p.m., Monday, August 18, 2014, in Lindeman Chapel of Clarksville Funeral Home with Rev. James Brown officiating. Friends and relatives are welcome. Burial will follow in Madras Cemetery under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home. We Love and will miss you till we all meet again.
