Obituary of Cora Raulston Boone

Cora Sue Raulston Boone, age 76, of Clarksville, passed away, Friday, November 21, 2014, at Christus St. Michael Hospital in Texarkana. Mrs. Boone was born August 24, 1938, in Clarksville to Clarence Melvin and Nannie Bess Yarbrough Raulston. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, James Boone; and 3 brothers, C.M., Herbert Wayne and Kenneth Adrian Raulston. Mrs. Boone was a longtime member of the New Haven Missionary Baptist Church. Funeral services are set for 3:00 p.m., Saturday, November 22, 2014, at New Haven Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. James Hinkle officiating. Burial will follow in New Haven Cemetery under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home. The family will receive friends an hour before service time at the church. Survivors include a son, James Michael Boone of Clarksville; 1 brother, Willie Garland Raulston of New Boston; 1 grandson, Zachary Tyler Boone of Dallas; 1 sister-in-law, Christine Raulston of Clarksville; and several nieces and nephews.
