Obituary of Patricia Ann Harper

Patricia Ann Mays Harper, age 63, of Blossom, passed away, Friday, December 19, 2014, at Brentwood Terrace Healthcare Center in Paris. She was a loving mother and grandmother. Patricia enjoyed reading her books and was a very religious woman. She was born, March 8, 1951, in Clarksville to Alton Ross and Eula Mae Campbell Mays. She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Billy Don Harper; and a brother, Donald Ross Mays. Funeral services are set for 10:30 a.m., Monday, December 22, 2014, in Lindeman Chapel of Clarksville Funeral Home with Rev. Robert Myers officiating. Burial will follow in Bogata Cemetery under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home. Pallbearers are Mason Harper, Calvin Harper, James Black, Cole Hackley, Dillon Murphy and Keith Barnett. Honorary Pallbearers are Chuck Hinson and Tommy Williams. Survivors include 3 sons, Johnny Ray Harper and wife, Jamie of Clarksville, Scotty Lynn Harper of Clarksville and Kevin Wayne Harper of Paris; 1 daughter, Brenda Black and husband, Kevin of Blossom; 4 sisters, Janie Hinson and Linda Williams both of Mt. Pleasant, Mary Sue Healy of Clyde and Betty Moore of Paris; 3 brothers, Benny Mays of Clarksville, Bradford Lee Mays of Paris and Edward Cook Mays of Clarksville; 6 grandchildren, Mason, Calvin, James, Makayla, William and Miley; the father of her children, Robert Ray Harper; and several nieces and nephews.
