Obituary of Edd Hartrick

Edd Hartrick, age 77, of Paris, passed away December 29, 2014, at Spring Lake Assisted Living Facility. He was a loving father and grandfather. Edd was the owner of H & H soil service in Clarksville. He loved spending time in the outdoors, whether golfing, hunting or fishing. Edd could fix just about anything or handle any problem that came up. He was born February 18, 1937, in Little River the son of Hal and Neva Erb Hartrick. Edd served in the National Guard and was of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by his wife, Louann Hartrick and 2nd wife, Anita Long Hartrick. Funeral services are set for 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 31, 2014, in Lindeman Chapel of Clarksville Funeral Home with Rev. James Brown and John Mitchell officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home. Serving as Pallbearers are, David Murphree, Craig Moody, Aaron Murphree, Drew Manginell, Forrest Moody, Parker Murphree and Mike McGuire. Survivors include 3 daughters, Paula Murphree and husband, David of Weatherford, Debra McGuire and husband, Mike of Clarksville and Janna Moody and husband, Craig of Paris; 1 sister, Kay Killough of Austin; his grandchildren, Aaron Murphree and wife, Kellyn, Jordan Murphree, Parker Murphree, Kristen Manginell, Mindy Roberts and husband, Matthew, Drew Manginell, Lauren Fortner and husband, Bryant, Forrest Moody, Amy Moody, Pamala McGuire, Lisa Bills and husband, Brad and Johnny McGuire and wife Tiffanie; and 10 great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
