Obituary of Eula Austin

Eula M. Austin, age 88, of Pleasanton, passed away, Sunday, January 4, 2015. Mrs. Austin was born February 15, 1926, in Clarksville to Garret and Margaret Eilers. Eula had many friends and family that she loved very much. She was a preachers wife and loved it, her church family loved her dearly. Eula was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Rev. James S. Austin; her son, James Austin; 3 brothers, Leo Doc and Delbert Eilers and 3 sisters, Gertrude Stanley, Lela Smith and Marie “Sis” Harrison. Funeral services are set for 2:00 p.m. Friday, January 9, 2015, in Lindeman Chapel of Clarksville Funeral Home with Rev. Louis Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home. Survivors include her daughter, Janette Savage of Pleasanton; 3 grandchildren, Tracey Savage, Cindy Wilson and Heather English; 6 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
