Obituary of Josephine Hembree

Josephine Hembree, age 91, of Avery, passed away, Sunday, March 01, 2015, at Baylor All Saints Hospital in Ft. Worth. Mrs. Hembree was born June 15, 1923, the daughter of Alex and Mary Ann Macintosh Crosswy. She retired from the Red River Army Depot and was a member of the Avery Missionary Baptist for over 46 years. Her husband, Ezekiel Hembree and a son, Bill Hembree preceded her in death. Funeral services are set for 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 3, 2015, at the Avery Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Roddy Jackson officiating. Burial will follow in Avery Cemetery under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home. Pallbearers are Jerry Nation Jerrick Nation, Blake Langford, Tyler Edmonds, Derrick Edmonds and Bill Yurch. The family received friends Monday night from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., at Clarksville Funeral Home. Survivors include 2 daughters, Mary Phelps and husband, Johnny of Ft. Worth and Sally Vincent of Ft. Worth; 2 special friends, Ed Yeary and Scott Almquist; 5 grandchildren; and 14 great grandchildren. Memorials may be made to the Avery Cemetery Association; P.O.
