Obituary of Judith Guilliams McLendon

Judith “Guilliams” McLendon, age 69, of Clarksville, passed away, Tuesday, March 03, 2015, at Paris Regional Medical Center. Judy was born October 13, 1945, in Clarksville, the daughter of John Franklin and Billie Grace Edwards McLendon. She received her Bachelors in Education from East Texas State University and taught school for many years. Judy was a member of the First Baptist Church in Clarksville. She was preceded in death by her parents; and 2 brothers, Charles Ray McLendon and Harold Lee McLendon. Graveside services are set for 1:00 p.m., Friday, March 6, 2015, under the Pavilion of Bogata Cemetery with Rev. Jeff Duvall officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home. There will be no formal visitation for Mrs. McLendon. Survivors include 1 daughter, Greta and spouse Gary Townes of Clarksville; 3 grandchildren, Kaitlin Baird and husband, James of Bogata, Kelsey Moore of Reno and Nathan Moore of Paris; and 2 great grandchildren, Keaton Moore and Alice Baird.
