Obituary of Jim Power

Jimmy Hoover Power, age 85, of Clarksville, passed away Sunday, March 08, 2015, at Paris Regional Medical Center. Jim was born March 19, 1929 in Reno Texas to Jim and Mamie Power. He was a beloved husband, father, and papaw and brother. He was loved greatly and will be missed, although he will always be with us in our hearts. . He was preceded in death by his wife Dorothy Favors Power, and daughters Leslie Nix and Theresa Terrie Champagne. Graveside services are set for 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 10, 2015 at Union Grove Cemetery with Rev. Jack Holt officiating. Burial is under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home. He is survived by his daughter, Victoria Powell of Fort Worth; his grandchildren, Todd Powell of Colleyville, Alisha Rhoades and Ashlyn Petty of Paris, Brandon Nix of Tyler and Joshua Champagne of New Orleans; 7 great grandchildren, another grandson on the way and one brother, Gerald Power of Oregon.
